<title>2010 Dinner Dance at the Glynhill Hotel</title>
		<link>http://www.fbga.org.uk/index.php?option=com_content&amp;task=view&amp;id=22&amp;Itemid=2</link>
<description>This year’s Dinner Dance and AGM will be held at the well-known and highly acclaimed Glynhill Hotel and Leisure Club (http://www.glynhill.com/) . This is the first time it has been held there and coincides with our great FREE meal offer (see below).

After the very successful few years at the Lynnehurst in Johnstone, a few of the committee members “did a recky” of the available hotels in the area and felt the the Glynhill would offer a great experience to those attending just the Dinner Dance but also for those who might stay for the weekend.
If you wish to purchase extra tickets, they remain at the 2009 price of £17.50. Contact Margaret Dymond on 0141 889 7197 or 07954 080352 or by writing to FBGA, c/o Margaret Dymond, 11d Maxwellton Court, Paisley, PA1 2UE.
We’re hoping this year will be a bumper year for attendance sowhy not take advantage of the FREE meal offer – not only for you but for also for any Associate Members you think could benefit.
So why not get your booking in and we look forward to see you at the Dinner Dance on Saturday September 11th 2010.

No such thing as a free meal... yes there is!

Dear Friends
The FBGA over the years has accomplished many things – sustained the refuge that was Cottage 8, provided financial assistance to those who were in need and planned social gatherings and channels of communication for former boys and girls.
This was accomplished through the generous donations and subscriptions of members and the voluntary work of the Committee members.
At a recent meeting of the Committee it was recognised that over the years we have seen a steady fall in the number of subscribers to the Association and a reduction in those attending the AGM and Dinner Dance.
In order to address these issues the Committee has decided to offer members (and associate members†) of the FBGA a FREE* meal! Here’s how it works.
To take advantage of this amazing offer simply take out a subscription (http://fbga.org.uk/images/stories/miscel/Subs_Form.pdf) with the Association and you will be entitled to a free meal at the forthcoming Dinner Dance in the Glynhill Hotel.
So if you feel like a great night out and wish to renew old acquaintances just complete the subscription form (http://fbga.org.uk/images/stories/miscel/Subs_Form.pdf) and enclose the appropriate amount (or bring it along on the night) – or if you know someone who would be interested in coming along please copy this letter and pass it on.
Yours sincerely

Jim Fleming, Chairman

* This offer is non-transferable. Only one free ticket per Member. The ticket has no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash. The Association retains the right to restrict or retract the offer at any time.

† A Full Member must apply for an Associate Member’s free ticket. Only one Associate Member ticket per Full Member can be applied for. You should complete as many details as you can on the Subscription Form (http://fbga.org.uk/images/stories/miscel/Subs_Form.pdf) .
